WHO WE ARE
Slapshot Supply Spot was founded by Krystal Rayner, a devoted hockey mom who experienced the struggles families face in providing their children with necessary hockey gear. Krystal's journey began with her son's passion for the sport, sparking a determination to support his interest in every possible way.
Recognizing the financial obstacles many families encounter in youth hockey, Krystal established Slapshot Supply Spot to ensure that all young athletes, regardless of financial circumstances, could access quality gear. Through collaboration with the community, local businesses, and generous donors, we collect and distribute gently used and new hockey gear to those in need.
Our mission is to remove the financial barriers that prevent aspiring players from fully participating in hockey, fostering inclusivity, confidence, and community engagement within the hockey community.
At Slapshot Supply Spot, we believe that every child in the greater Portland, Oregon area deserves the opportunity to lace up their skates, grab a stick, and experience the thrill of hockey.
